The Doctors

Dr Appleby
Dr Nitika Appleby MBBS, MRCGP
Dr Appleby trained at St George's Hospital, London and qualified in 1994. After completing her GP training in the Tunbridge Wells area she has worked as a local GP Locum. She joined the practice in November 2002 and, during her time here, has developed her interest in diabetes, palliative care and the care of older patients.

Dr Duncombe
Dr Catherine Duncombe MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG
Dr Duncombe trained at The University of Birmingham before obtaining her degree in medicine. Subsequently she has enjoyed placements in gynaecology and ENT. For a year she acted as a dedicated teacher of anatomy, enjoying teaching students at Birmingham University.
A GP for over nine years now, she continues to develop her interest in general practice.

Dr Mitchell
Dr Mitchell trained at King's College School of Medicine and Dentistry, part of The University of London. Whilst there she enjoyed her placement in generalpractice and so aimed for a career in this speciality.
She undertook her GP training here in Kent, working in the Kent and Sussex, Pembury and Conquest Hospitals. Since then Dr Mitchell has developed an interest in Sexual and Reproductive Health, as well as general gynaecology. She also holds a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as from The Faculty of Reproductive and Sexual Health. She is an expert in fitting IUDs, IUS and contraceptive implants.
Out of surgery hours she keeps busy with a young family at home.
